Bryan Dibb started in the furniture industry in 1973 as a general dog’s body and has designed and crafted classic pieces of furniture ever since.
His career began at Baron’s Interiors in the old William Adams Building in Perth. Founded by a somewhat colourful Dutch/Canadian character, Bryan’s time there influenced his formative views about the luxury furniture market. The Danish style was also a keen interest and is reflected in his designs.
Since then Bryan’s classic designs have been sold at retail stores all across Perth, and bespoke pieces made for interior designers, public libraries, associations and more. He was a partner in the first and second Modern Classics stores located at Subiaco and Kensington.
Moving to Fremantle in 2007 enabled Bryan to slow down by working from his factory close to home. In the following years he began restoring for Hunters and Collectors in Mosman Park, and found time to design something new for Webbers. He now works from a purpose built workshop in South Fremantle.
